Description

A well - established company in the manufacturing industry is now on the lookout to launch the costing department and implement strategies and structures.


The ideal individual for this contract role for 6months will have firsthand experience with cost modeling and manage all various cost measures.


The ideal individual for this role will be an ambitious person and will have a passion for the costing role that they do, therefore someone with the ability to take challenges head-on.


The key responsibilities for this role will include:

  • BOM
  • WIP
  • Costing standards
  • Labour costing
  • Variance analysis
  • Cost Modelling
  • Management
As you will be responsible for hitting the ground running experience is essential.

You will also be directly involved with the full costing function including standard costing, overhead absorption as well as inventory control.


Qualification:


  • Completed B. Com accounting degree or B. Tech degree in Cost and Management accounting
  • Completed Honours will be advantageous
  • Completed CMA (highly beneficial)

Experience:


  • 6+ years experience in a similar role

Skills Required:


  • Solid ERP system experience is essential
  • Deadline driven
