    Description

    As an interior decorator, you''ll be responsible for:

    1. Conducting client consultations to understand their needs, preferences, and budgetary constraints.
    2. Providing creative design solutions tailored to clients'' tastes and the functionality of the space.
    3. Selecting appropriate color schemes, furniture, fabrics, lighting, and accessories to enhance the aesthetic appeal of interiors.
    4. Creating detailed design plans, including floor layouts, furniture arrangements, and color palettes, using computer-aided design (CAD) software or hand sketches.
    5. Sourcing and procuring furnishings, materials, and décor items from vendors and suppliers within budget and timeline constraints.
    6. Overseeing the installation and arrangement of furniture, fixtures, and accessories to ensure they align with the design vision and spatial requirements.
    7. Collaborating with architects, contractors, and other professionals to coordinate design elements and ensure seamless project execution.
    8. Providing ongoing support and guidance to clients throughout the design process, addressing any concerns or revisions as needed.
    9. Staying updated on the latest trends, technologies, and materials in interior design to continuously enhance skills and offer innovative solutions.
    10. Maintaining accurate records of project specifications, expenses, and timelines to ensure efficient project management and client satisfaction.

    Desired Experience & Qualification:

    1. Certificate in Interior Design, Fine Arts, or related field preferred.
    2. Proven experience as an interior decorator or designer, with a portfolio showcasing successful projects.
    3. Proficiency in computer-aided design (CAD) software and other relevant design tools.
    4. Strong creative vision and ability to translate client preferences into cohesive design concepts.
    5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with clients and team members.
    6. Knowledge of industry trends, materials, and furnishings to offer innovative design solutions.
    7. Strong organizational and project management abilities to handle multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
    8. Attention to detail and a passion for delivering high-quality, visually appealing interiors.
    9. Flexibility and adaptability to adjust design plans based on client feedback and project constraints.
    10. Professionalism and integrity in all interactions with clients, vendors, and colleagues.
