One of the oldest farms in the Cape Winelands is looking to employ a Butchery Production Intern
preferably a graduate who is eager to learn and grow.

DUTIES:

Support the meat production team with operational functions including, but not limited to, supply chain, inventory, production, forecasting, quality, food safety, production process, maintenance, and external supplier management

Support the meat production team in planning and managing operational projects
***:

Assist in the drive of continuous improvement, food safety, growth, and up scaling
***:

Ensure exceptional quality and timely production of all products
***:

Support the meat production team in new product development and roll out of new products in the facility
***:

Assist in writing SOP's, specifications and food safety management documentation
***:
-
Ensure that the company culture is upheld
***
REQUIREMENTS:***-
1 year experience required
***:
-
Relevant tertiary qualification in animal science, food production, food engineering or food science
***:
-
Fluent in Afrikaans and English
***:
-
FMCG knowledge would be advantageous
***:
-
Interest in food production, specifically meat production
***:
-
Good understanding of numbers and stock management will be advantageous
***
