Assistant Retail Manager

We are seeking a customer-focused Assistant Retail Manager to join our client's team, a leading wholesale retail liquor franchise. This role is ideal for an individual with strong management, organizational, and interpersonal skills.

About the Role

Key Responsibilities:
Oversee day-to-day store operations to ensure smooth functioning and exceptional customer service.
Monitor stock levels, manage inventory, and ensure product availability to meet customer demand.
Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve sales targets and maximize profitability.
Handle customer inquiries, feedback, and complaints professionally, ensuring customer satisfaction.
Plan and execute in-store promotions, merchandising, and marketing campaigns.

Requirements

Education: Matric
Experience: 1-3 years of retail experience, preferably in the retail liquor industry, with previous experience in a supervisory or management role.
Skills: Strong knowledge of liquor laws, regulations, and responsible alcohol sales, understanding of inventory management and stock control, ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle pressure effectively.
