Overview

Our company is looking for an Electronic Security technician based in Mbombela to look after one specific client's site. Our head office is based in Johannesburg but with the rapidly expanding business we will need someone in Mbombela permanently.

Minimum Requirements:

Valid driver's license.

Minimum of 3 years' experience in the electronic security and life safety industry, specifically:

Access control, IP CCTV, Smoke detection, Intruder alarms, PA / Evacuation, Structured cabling, IT and Networking

Experience with the following product sets is required:

Salto

Technoswitch

Paradox

PSIRA Registered - Compulsory

SAQCC Registered - Beneficial.

Teamwork and planning

Ability to work independently

Ability to work well under pressure and be able to meet deadlines.

Focus and complete assigned tasks on time and prioritize when given multiple tasks

Communicate effectively in both oral and written communications

Duties and Responsibilities:

Attending the installation, programming, fault finding, commissioning, handover and maintenance of electronic security and life safety systems at ONE specific site in Nelspruit.

Site Schematics and as built drawings update.

Managing installation teams to ensure manufacturer and company installation standards are adhered to.

Willing to work weekends, after hours and willing to travel.

Reporting to management on the progress and overall status of projects and maintenance activities.
**Inspect sites and liaise with customers on requirements and expectations
