    Description
    My client is seeking a highly skilled Finance Manager to join their team and oversee the financial operations of their Support Services department.

    The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a team, ensuring efficient financial processes, and providing strategic financial guidance to support the company's growth and success.

    This role is based in Sandton, Johannesburg North.

    Key Responsibilities:
    • Lead a team and supervise all Support Services functions.
    • Act as a Bank Signatory, overseeing EFT payments and updating creditor banking details.
    • Approve journal entries and oversee the Point of Sale (POS) system, including purchase order release.
    • Scrutinize balance sheet reconciliations and conduct income statement analysis.
    • Assess monthly stats reporting and Group charges, managing Group VAT submissions.
    • Compile Quarterly Stats reports.
    • Supervise year-end audits and budgets for Support Services, including account preparation and consolidation, and aiding in Group Consolidation.
    • Generate monthly, quarterly reports, and forecasts reports.
    • Assist departmental management with inquiries and budgeting processes.
    • Administer monthly group support services fringe benefit company car schedules for payroll.
    • Perform monthly budget vs actual variance analysis.
    • Ensure effective implementation and operation of control procedures.
    • Manage various ad-hoc Group management accounting tasks as needed.

    Qualifications and Experience:
    • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
    • Proven experience in a similar role, with at least 3 - 5 years of experience in financial management.
