    Description

    Pharmacist

    We are seeking a skilled Pharmacist to join our team at Dis-Chem Pharmacies in Limpopo. As a Pharmacist, you will be responsible for providing pharmaceutical care to patients and meeting their medicine-related needs.

    Responsibilities:

    • Evaluate patient medicine-related needs and determine the indication, safety, and effectiveness of therapy
    • Dispense medicines and scheduled substances on prescription from authorized personnel
    • Sign off and check prescriptions prepared by assistants or interns
    • Furnish information and advice to patients regarding medication use
    • Determine patient compliance with therapy and follow up to ensure needs are met

    Requirements:

    • Grade 12 / Matric qualification
    • BPharm or equivalent qualification
    • Registered with the South African Pharmacy Council (SAPC)
    • Minimum 2-3 years experience in Pharmaceutical

    Desirable Qualities:

    • Relevant retail/FMCG experience
    • Third additional language
    • SAP experience
    • E-scripting experience

    Working Conditions:

    • Controlled room temperature

    • Health and safety risks

    Competencies:

    • Strong English language skills and second language proficiency
    • Good communication and listening skills
    • Basic dosing and drug interaction knowledge
