Main Purpose of Position:

Grow revenue and gross profit by following up on all CRM opportunities. (House accounts)

Key Performance Areas:

  • Validate all identified opportunities from the dashboards on house accounts tracking notes in CRM will be updated.
  • Call on and update any overdue CRM opportunities tracking notes on opportunity progress.
  • Daily deal and quote validations.
  • Maintain operations by following policies and procedures; reporting needed changes
  • Attend training as and when required (Brand/product/sales)
  • Biweekly business review sessions with Management (review CRM hygiene and progress with House CRM ops.
  • CRM: Notes are to be completed in full, detailed notes for both Opportunity rating and general notes.
  • General notes: General engagement notes, business development product training
  • Complete sales cycle from CRM
  • Quote on Fortinet/Dell CSG and Any run rate business for house accounts both in CRM and Accpac
  • Complete Call campaigns/ Lead generations, Promotional activities, campaign followups, and Event calls downs.
  • Update account profiles on CRM with correct contact people, contact details, etc.

  • Knowledge of relevant brand products and process.
  • Knowledge of vendor structure to have the correct point of contact.
  • Knowledge of information management industry in South Africa.
  • Previous IT solutions sales and business development experience.
  • Knowledge of IT Industry.
  • Understanding of Distribution.
  • Good understanding of Cyber Security ,Datacenter Infrastructure, Networking and Cloud a must.
  • Overall solutions selling knowledge.
  • Excel Intermediate

Minimum Qualification:

  • Matric

Minimum Experience:

  • Distribution sales, Experience selling into and developing reseller channels, Solution Selling, selling across Cloud, Datacenter infrastructure, Networking and or Cyber security.
