Main Purpose of Position:

Your main duty will be to help our company collect the money it is owed. You will be responsible for contacting debtors and negotiating payments. You will be the main person responsible for recovering the money owed when it is due.




Debt Collection

  • Ensuring Debtor accounts are paid timeously
  • Allocate payments from the bank daily
  • Follow up on unapplied cash and allocate once remittance received
  • Log and follow up on customer queries/complaints
  • Daily cash sales to be allocated accordingly
  • File reports and working papers
  • Stop overdue accounts and review accounts in accordance with the company credit policy
  • Reconciling remittances received, posting to customer accounts, and following up on differences daily
  • Assist team members with queries where necessary
  • Prepare ageing to be discussed in monthly debtors' meetings.

Minimum Qualification:

  • Grade 12

Minimum Experience:

  • 5 years + Credit Control/ Accounts Receivable Clerk Experience

Nice-to-have Skills:

  • Credit Management Diploma will be advantageous

Office Requirements:

  • Excellent international business language skills (English), both written and verbal.

  • The remuneration package will be discussed during the interviewing process.
  • Follow through with a 3month probation review which will be scheduled by Human Resources monthly.
  • You will be required to perform such duties as reasonably required by the business. Your job description may be amended from time to time if it is valid and reasonable.
  • You will serve the Company or any Associated Entity in such a capacity as management may reasonably require.
  • Duties must be performed' faithfully, diligently, and to the best of your abilities. You agree to use your best endeavors to promote the best interests of the Company and any Associated Entity.
