Description:

Company dealing with the sale and installation of all kinds of Solar and CCTV systems, electrical wiring according to electrical drawings is seeking a qualified 3-phase Electrician with Solar experience

Must have a wireman's license and solar experience installation and trouble shooting experience.

The primary role is to assist with all technical, electrical and admin work or any other duties assigned to him / her from time-to-time.

Minimum Requirements:

Grade 12 / Matric / Senior Certificate
Trade

Tested Electrician

N4 Certificate
Wiremans license
Solar PV experience essential
Minimum of 3 years post trade experience
Valid driver's license and vehicle
Fluent in both English and Afrikaans
Previous experience of preventative & corrective maintenance on a solar plant
Previous sales experience will be an advantage
Computer literate and proficient in the MS Office Suite
PLC troubleshooting and maintenance

Responsibilities (not limited to):

Electrical and solar installation
Install, maintain and repair electrical and solar systems
Maintain technical knowledge through reading of documentation and diagrams
Perform general electrical maintenance
Inspect solar installations and other electrical installations
Troubleshoot electrical issues using appropriate testing devices
Repair and replace solar equipment, electrical wiring or fixtures
Ensure quality control for installations and maintenance
Good knowledge of various test equipment
Design of solar systems
Booking in and out of stock; accurate stock record keeping according to job card
Responsible use and safekeeping of company assets assigned to the position
Tools assigned is your responsibility
Communication with clients / colleagues and subcontractors conducted in a professional and respectful manner
Service excellence key responsibility to clients
