Our Client requires the service of a suitably qualified / experienced Operations Manager with Retail / FMCG experience.

POSITION:
Permanent

PURPOSE OF POSITION:

JOB OBJECTIVES:

Maximise the profits of the region.
Grow market share within the region.
Manage risk within the region.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

Degree / Diploma in Retail Management / Operations Management or relevant
Operations management experience within the Retail/ FMCG sector.
Microsoft Excel proficiency a must.
Good business acumen
Knowledge of financial and business principles (e.g. GP, growth, etc.)
Knowledge of FMCG principles
Knowledge of merchandising standards and principles
Knowledge of various store departments
IR Knowledge
Resource and People Management Skills
Customer Relations skills
Strong Problemsolving Skills.
A resilient individual with excellent interpersonal and clear communication skills
Fluent in English and Afrikaans (verbal and written)
Proven experience in budget management
Solid report writing skills.
Valid Drivers License with own vehicle.
Willing to travel extensively to meet with operational requirements.
