    HUMAN CAPITAL GROUP DATA ANALYST

    The Human Capital Group Data Analyst is responsible for collecting, analyzing, and interpreting data to inform strategic decision-making.

    This role plays a vital part in leveraging data to support evidence-based decision-making and drive initiatives that align with organizational goals and objectives.

    RESPONSIBILITIES:

    Ensure the integrity of Human Capital data across various platforms.

    Gather data from different Human Capital systems, including employee databases, performance management systems, recruitment platforms, and employee surveys.

    Analyze Human Capital data to identify trends, patterns, and correlations. This may involve using statistical techniques, data visualization tools, and predictive analytics to derive insights.

    Develop reports and dashboards to present Human Capital metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs) to stakeholders, such as senior management or department heads.

    Identify and develop strategies and initiatives based on data-driven insights, including workforce planning, talent acquisition, employee engagement, and retention strategies in conjunction with the Human Capital Expertise team.

    Find opportunities to optimize Human Capital processes and enhance efficiency through data analysis and recommend solutions for continuous improvement.

    Evaluate Human Capital practices and policies for compliance with legal and regulatory requirements by monitoring data for compliance issues and providing recommendations for mitigation.

    Establish and maintain data governance standards and protocols to ensure the accuracy, integrity, and security of Human Capital data.

    Communicate findings and recommendations effectively to Human Capital colleagues, both verbally and through written reports and presentations.

    Generate and consolidate reports on Human Capital metrics monthly and as needed for board meetings and sub-committees.

    Support payroll model systems.

    Track and verify BEE Scorecard metrics.

    Manage HR legal and compliance submissions.

    REQUIREMENTS:

    Proficiency in data analysis tools and techniques.

    Ability to clean, manipulate, and analyze large datasets to derive meaningful insights.

    Ability to create clear and informative visualizations, such as charts, graphs, and dashboards.

    Understanding of Human Capital processes, policies, performance management, compensation, and benefits, employee engagement, and workforce planning.

    Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify trends, patterns, and root causes within Human Capital data and provide actionable recommendations and improvements.

    Attention to detail in data analysis and reporting to ensure accuracy and reliability of findings.

    Able to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously, prioritize work, and meet deadlines effectively.

    1. Rélevant HR/IT qualification
    2. + 5 years' work experience in a Retail/Manufacturing environment
