Job Description

An energy solutions company seeks an Internal Sales Representative to manage and maintain sales within a specific geographic area, working closely with clients and the internal sales team. This role requires a strong understanding of the company's energy products and effective communication of technical information.

The representative will build strong relationships with local clients, ensuring their needs are met while identifying new sales opportunities. Strong organizational skills are needed to manage orders, track sales, and support the external sales team.

Key Responsibilities:

Serve as internal sales support for pre-defined geographical locations.
Work closely with the Accounts Department to ensure effective management of customer credit accounts.
Provide general product information to customers and forward queries to appropriate persons.
Generate sales by liaising with current customers and following new customer leads.
Process orders, invoices, and payments for product dispatch.
Manage warranty claims and customer credit limits.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

At least 2 years of experience in a similar role.
Battery knowledge is advantageous.
Experience with ERP system (SYSPRO) is advantageous.
Essential Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel skills.
Admin and telesales experience, or other relevant experience.
Attention to detail and good customer service.
Professional communication and interpersonal skills.
A passion for selling and generating new business.
Strong negotiation skills and commercial acumen.
A result-oriented problem solver with numeracy and computer literacy.
Well-organized and self-motivated.
Fast and accurate data entry skills.
Fluent in English and Afrikaans (verbal and written).
