Purpose of the role

This is a fixed-term role with an opportunity to become permanent, and requires employees to work the following shifts:

Shift 1: 08:00
16:1
Shift 2: 09h00
17h1
Shift 3: 10:4-19:00

The environment necessitates overtime in peak periods. The amount of overtime hours depends on the business need in terms of the volumes received. What will you do?

Outputs/Core tasks

Conduct telephonic interviews in English and Afrikaans and complete the interview the first time by attaining the relevant information.
Accurate recording and/or capturing of client responses.
Explain basic medical terminology when requested by client.
Insight into indicators of any medical risk behaviour and accurately document such information. What will make you successful in this role?

Role Requirements

Qualifications:

Diploma or Certificate in Nursing / Bio-Technology or similar qualification will be an advantage

Knowledge
Knowledge of Life Assurance and/or Financial Services industry.
Knowledge of medical terminology.

Experience
1-2 years' work experience in an outbound call centre.
1-year experience within a medical environment will be an advantage.
