    Description

    We are seeking a skilled Payroll Benefits Specialist to join our People Team.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Manage the full payroll function, including benefits administration and query handling for internal stakeholders.
    • Ensure accurate payroll reporting and maintain a comprehensive payroll and benefits data hub.

    Requirements:

    • Relevant HR or Finance diploma/degree.
    • Payroll qualification/certificates.
    • Minimum of 2-3 years of payroll administration experience.
    • Knowledge of payroll systems (SAGE experience is advantageous).
    • Benefits administration experience is an advantage.

    Skills and Attributes:

    • Technical skills: Benefits Management, Process Administration Reporting, Payroll Tax.
    • Behavioral skills: Strong interpersonal and communication skills, problem-solving, planning organizing, attention to detail.
    • Attributes: Attention to detail, drive for results, integrity, stress tolerance, sense of urgency, resilience.

    Additional Responsibilities:

    • Consult and support on Medical Aid, Pension, and other benefits for employees and service providers.
    • Handle employee queries related to payroll and benefits.
    • Administer Employee Assistance Programs (EAP), coordinate wellness programs, and manage benefits-related assets.
    • Complete month-end reporting, statutory submissions, and payroll reporting.
    • Support additional HR projects and execute Compensation Benefits events as required.

    Working Relationships:

    • Internal: All support functions, all employees, expats, Head Office.
    • External: All service providers, statutory bodies.
