Your key
job responsibilities as the
Head of Digital Marketing in
Johannesburg (Remote) will include:

  • Develop and execute effective acquisition and retention strategies with key focus on growing the online
    sports betting vertical
  • Build and lead the marketing team across all channels including Affiliates, SEO, Programmatic, PPC, SMS, Paid Social and CRM
  • Work with senior stakeholders including the Group Managing Director to prepare budgets, allocate resources, set KPI's and measure ROI
  • Develop specific campaigns to create and maintain elevated levels of customer acquisition, reactivation, engagement, and interaction
  • Develop online content strategies, considering SEO and Google Analytics
  • Forecast player trends and act proactively to improve their market positioning
  • Liaise with product, design, operations, and commercial teams to increase customer satisfaction through cohesive strategies
  • Provide strategic direction and strong leadership to develop, grow and lead the marketing team
  • Stay up to date with digital technologies, market developments and the competitive landscape within the South African
    sports betting industry
  • Develop and Implement a social media strategy to grow the brand and increase customer recognition around the brand
  • Develop and manage the marketing budget, forecasting and ROI; including analytics and reporting on the effectiveness of campaigns such as conversion rate / player value / ROI to aid decisionmaking and optimise campaigns and the use of specific marketing channels
Requirements for this
Head of Digital Marketing job in
Johannesburg (Remote):

  • Proven experience within a senior digital/acquisition marketing focused role
  • A strong understanding of the
    sports betting industry in South Africa including demonstrable experience in the planning and implementation of marketing strategies, campaigns and promotions in
    sports betting:
  • Demonstrated experience in designing and implementing successful digital marketing strategies
  • Willing to role your sleeves up and get stuck into daytoday marketing responsibilities
  • Strong understanding of how all digital marketing channel's function
  • Solid knowledge of online marketing tools and best practices
  • Familiarity with SEO/SEM, Google Analytics, PPC and acquisition software
  • Experience with CPA, Revenue Share, CPC and CPM models
  • Excellent analytical and project management skills
  • Strong team management and communication skills (written and verbal)
