Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled project manager to oversee projects of varying values and complexities. The successful candidate will ensure the company's interests are protected while delivering best practice project management to clients and stakeholders.

Main Responsibilities

Develop and manage project schedules, ensuring timely delivery and stakeholder satisfaction.
Create, control and manage project budgets, forecasts and expenditure, optimizing financial performance.
Effectively procure necessary resources for projects, including approval of project orders and ensuring compliance with technical and time requirements.
Manage projects within contractual scope, applying best practice methods to achieve successful outcomes.
Evaluate and improve quality assurance processes, prioritizing customer satisfaction and expectations.
Lead and guide project teams, comprising internal resources and sub-contractors, promoting collaboration and effective communication.
Identify, assess and mitigate risks, encompassing technical, contractual, financial, health and safety, and schedule-related concerns.
Implement effective change management strategies, minimizing disruption and maximizing benefits.

Maintain open and efficient communication with all project stakeholders, particularly clients, to ensure mutual understanding and satisfaction.

Required Qualifications & Experience

Diploma or degree in Project Management or a related field.
Matric Certificate or equivalent qualification.
Compliance with Occupational Health and Safety Act 85 of 1993 training, covering responsibilities of employers and employees, HIRA.
Electrical Engineering Degree or Diploma.
Training in NEC, FIDIC, and GCC Contracts.
A minimum of 5 years' experience in project management, preferably on multi-disciplinary projects.
Familiarity with managing contracts based on NEC, GCC, and FIDIC standard terms and conditions.

Pursue ongoing professional development through relevant project management courses and materials.
