    Job Summary

    Are you a seasoned expert in managing complex virtual environments across Hybrid Cloud and High-Performance Computing platforms? Do you thrive in environments where technology meets innovation, and collaboration drives success?

    Key Responsibilities:

    1. Design, implement, and maintain VDI solutions aligned with global guidelines.
    2. Manage VDI operations and maintenance across hybrid cloud (Private & Public).
    3. Collaborate with application owners and engineering teams to understand CA / CAE application dependencies and their VDI impact.
    4. Drive VDI automation initiatives using Ansible and other automation tools to optimize performance and processes.
    5. Develop Ansible playbooks for VDI deployment and application performance enhancement.
    6. Monitor, manage, and fine-tune VDI platforms to ensure performance, stability, and cost-efficiency.
    7. Define and manage self-service requests in ServiceNow for VDI demands (resizing, provisioning, platform switches).
    8. Lead efforts around cloud migration (public and private) for CAE / CAD applications and their dependencies.
    9. Handle Problem, Incident, and Change Management processes for dedicated ITSM services.
    10. Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation across CMDB, Application Instance Wizards, and knowledge bases.
    11. Act as technical lead during audits, ensuring compliance with security, performance, and ITIL processes.
    12. Support weekend changes when required and participate in global operations meetings.

    Essential Skills & Experience:

    1. Strong experience with Confluence, Jira, Bitbucket / GitHub.
    2. Expertise in Unix / Linux (RHEL, Ubuntu) and Windows operating systems.
    3. Hands-on experience with Autofs, DFS, NFS, CIFS.
    4. Proven background in CAD & CAE environments.
    5. Knowledge of VMware Horizon, ESXi, Cloud Foundation.
    6. Experience with Azure Public Cloud and cloud migration technologies.
    7. Strong stakeholder management and ability to navigate architectural technical discussions.
    8. Familiarity with Agile Working Model (AWM) and working within Agile teams.

    Advantageous Skills:

    1. ServiceNow ITSM Suite knowledge.
    2. Experience in Automation and AI processes.
    3. Experience in DevOps teams (agile steering).
    4. Deep knowledge of VDI platform migrations.
    5. Strong understanding of High Performance Computing in VDI setups.
    6. Knowledge of storage solutions (emc2, NetApp).
    7. Experience with Ansible Tower and advanced playbook design.
    8. Hands-on Public & Private Cloud experience (Azure, AWS).
    9. Understanding of data security, privacy, and compliance.
    10. Familiarity with BMW-specific tools (DIVA, iStore, ADGR).
    11. Scripting and programming (Java, Python, Perl).

    Qualifications:

    1. Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.
    2. ITIL certification (preferred).
    3. Scrum Master / Agile certification (advantageous).
    4. Relevant Storage or Operating System certifications highly beneficial.
    5. Minimum 4 years in IT Operations with strong ITIL background.
    6. Minimum 4 years' experience in storage management.
    7. Minimum 4 years of hands-on work with VDI and operating systems.
    8. Minimum 4 years of experience working within Agile / Scrum environments.
