Introduction
Our manufacturing client in Mobeni is in search of an Electrician to join their team.

Duties & Responsibilities

Assisting the production department in achieving optimum efficiencies through timeously and efficiently attending to the electrical requirements of their machinery and auxiliary equipment during maintenance, repair and servicing.

Assisting with troubleshooting/problem solving in the department as and when required. Staying abreast of, advising and where cost effective, assisting with the implementation of technical developments and improvements. Maintain accurate stock of all electronic/electrical component spares as per the stores system.
Maintain an up to date set of machine manuals and electrical drawings.
Accurate admin of related issues (timekeeping, history feedback, repair text, job cards).
Attending to the electrical requirements of new machinery to be installed. Programme drives and PLCs as required or liaise with electronic contractors as required.
Prompt reaction time to breakdowns and requests.
Maintain control over all electric/electronic contractor supplied support to ensure correct standard is achieved.
Adhere to maintenance systems, policies and authority levels. To be on standby as and when required.
Practising good housekeeping and safety.

Desired Experience & Qualification

Education:
Matric Certificate

Tertiary in Electrical Engineering Electrical
Trade Test Wireman's License

Desired Experience:
Experience in a similar environment
Minimum 5 years experience
Knowledge with working with PLC
