Our client in the Electronics industry is seeking a Frequency Technician to be based in Edenvale


Minimum requirements:


  • Understanding of RF & Cellular communication
  • Knowledge of networks and network infrastructure
  • Knowledge of alarm communication technology in the security industry.
  • Knowledge of the operations within the security industry.
  • Sales capabilities to upsell the RDC product range.
  • Knowledge and ability to use technical instrumentation, signal generator, SWR watt meter, oscilloscope, multimeter, Marconi radio communication tester and power supplies.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:


  • Degree or completed coursework in engineering or electronics.
  • Or a Relevant technical qualification certificate.
  • Some experience of direct customer interaction.
  • Some experience with alarm control panels on a senior technician level.
  • Good communication skills in English, Afrikaans Additionally French and/or Portuguese.
