Description

We are looking for an individual who has a passion for interior design, is highly computer literate and has at least 3 years working experience to fill the role of kitchen design assistant.

A degree or experience in any design profession is preferable and a degree in interior design would be advantageous.

The role requires an individual who is self-disciplined, well-spoken and able to easily and respectfully interact with customers while manning the showroom, as well as assisting management with general administrative tasks as may be needed within the scope of business dealings.

Summary Candidacy Requirements:

Must be computer literate
Design skills/experience/qualification preferred
Interior Design experience or qualification advantageous
Minimum Qualification: Grade 12 or 3 years design experience
English and Afrikaans proficiency advantageous
Passion for interior design
Selfdisciplined, wellspoken, respectful communicator and professional appearance

Responsibilities of Role as a Kitchen Design Assistant:

Technical design and renderings completed in good time
Preparing designs ready for customer presentation
Creating/managing of customer quotes, contracts, orders
Manning showroom and keeping it to standard
Assisting and advising walkin customers
Assisting management and sales teams where support is needed
Assistance in general admin where needed for business dealings

Salary Amount as per noted range will be decided on the basis of the above requirements fulfilled. As a kitchen design assistant, you will receive commissions on the designs you have completed for successful sales.

Working Hours:
Monday - Friday 09:00-17:00 and some Saturdays 09:00-13:00

R8 000,00 - R10 000,00 per month
