What will you do?

  • Manage a team of collectors to ensure they achieve collection quality and productivity targets to increase revenue through implementation of various strategies and campaigns
    What will make you successful in this role?
  • Comply with governance in terms of legislative, regulatory and audit requirements
  • Control the administrative activities relative to the function of deceased and insolvent estates by ensuring liaison with third parties i.e. attorneys, trustees, executors, liquidators by the collectors
  • Control the risk grading of the customer base, by inputing data into Regulatory Credit Risk reports and models, to ensure minimising of risk to the organisation
  • Counsel surviving spouses to expedite closure of home loan accounts by analysing surviving spouse or executor financial worthiness to manage risk for the organisation
  • Maximise productivity through the optimal utilisation of available resources, including human resources, for the collection department
  • Ensure legal action for nonperformance by either executor, surviving spouse or solvent half share owner of properties were done by collectors
  • Control that the data is retrieved and manipulated into an understandable format through extensive data mining and analysis by the collectors

  • Two years contact centre experience
  • Collections experience is advantageous
