GENERAL JOB PURPOSE
Management of the preparation centre facility, resources and budget and ensure professional service delivery.


Job Responsibilities:

  • Management of the preparation centre facility by:
  • Conducting budget planning and budget management process
  • Implementation of risk management and risk control measures
  • Management of assets and stock control
  • Responsible for the ordering process of coffins and funeral related products from the Factory
  • Implementation of audit processes and guidelines in line with the Group's audit policies.
  • Ensure the compliance with relevant legislation and reporting of any incidents
  • Management and control of the Fleet
  • Responsible for fixed properties and project management of the facility
  • Ensure all health and safety requirement are met and liaise with the relevant authorities on compliance (OHS)
  • Responsible for Stake holder management
  • Communicate changes and implementation of new initiatives with Funeral Agencies on a regular basis
  • Manage and lead the administration function
  • Responsible for monthly reports
  • Responsible for management and performance management of staff
  • Promoting the image of AVBOB
Minimum Qualifications

  • Matric
  • Relevant tertiary qualification
  • Valid Driver's licence
Knowledge and Experience

  • 34 Years management experience
  • Knowledge of the funeral industry
  • Computer Literate
