Description

Responsibilities

  • Manage transactions with customers using computers
  • Scan goods and ensure pricing is accurate
  • Collect payments whether in cash or credit
  • Issue receipts, refunds, change or credits
  • Crosssell products and introduce new ones
  • Resolve customer complaints, guide them and provide relevant information
  • Greet customers when entering or leaving the store
  • Maintain clean and tidy checkout areas
  • Handle merchandise returns and exchanges
  • Cash up of money received on a daily basis
  • All admin duties in the store

Requirements and skills

  • Work experience as a Retail Cashier or in a similar role in sales
  • Basic PC knowledge
  • Familiarity with electronic equipment, like computers and printers
  • Good math skills
  • Strong communication and time management skills
  • Customer satisfactionoriented

Salary:
From R5 500,00 per month


Experience:


  • Administrative office procedures, practices and equipment: 1 year (preferred)
  • Cashier: 1 year (preferred)
  • Retail of Hardware: 1 year (preferred)
