Responsibilities
- Manage transactions with customers using computers
- Scan goods and ensure pricing is accurate
- Collect payments whether in cash or credit
- Issue receipts, refunds, change or credits
- Crosssell products and introduce new ones
- Resolve customer complaints, guide them and provide relevant information
- Greet customers when entering or leaving the store
- Maintain clean and tidy checkout areas
- Handle merchandise returns and exchanges
- Cash up of money received on a daily basis
- All admin duties in the store
Requirements and skills
- Work experience as a Retail Cashier or in a similar role in sales
- Basic PC knowledge
- Familiarity with electronic equipment, like computers and printers
- Good math skills
- Strong communication and time management skills
- Customer satisfactionoriented
Salary:
From R5 500,00 per month
Experience:
- Administrative office procedures, practices and equipment: 1 year (preferred)
- Cashier: 1 year (preferred)
- Retail of Hardware: 1 year (preferred)
