    Job Role

    Retail Admin Supervisor

    We are seeking a dynamic and passionate individual to ensure exceptional customer satisfaction and excellent store performance at Toys R Us, a well-established international brand.

    Toys R Us SA currently boasts 60+ physical stores and an online store, offering an amazing range and experience to customers of all ages. The key focus is on delivering great value and ensuring exceptional customer satisfaction.

    Key Responsibilities

    The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all administrative functions in a store, including:

    • Managing daily banking, price changes, staff scheduling, employment contracts, stock counts, stationery, and other general administration tasks.
    • Counting and recording money received and/or paid out and balancing against cash register sales records.
    • Ensuring accurate and timely daily banking and reconciliations.
    • Daily reporting of discrepancies, shortages, overs, price overrides, refunds, and exchanges to the Store Manager for authorisation.
    • Managing and controlling all functions and procedures related to receipt and dispatch of goods in accordance with standard operating procedures.
    • Daily scanning and emailing of documentation relating to the receipt and dispatch of stock to head office.
    • Planning, preparing, and administering all stock take counts.
    • Maintenance and administration of all stock-related matters.
    • Ordering, monitoring, and controlling stationery used in the store.
    • Minimizing expenses and protecting Company assets in the area of responsibility.

    Requirements

    The ideal candidate will have:

    • A Matric Certificate.
    • Own or reliable transport to work for shift-based responsibilities.
    • Minimum of 1 (one) year administration experience within a retail environment.

    Additional Expectations

    The successful candidate will be expected to:

    • Undertake any other relevant duties requested by Senior Management.
    • Participate in mandatory and service training as required.
    • Maintain the strict confidentiality of all information.
    • Take responsibility and accountability for being up to date with current SOPs.
    • Co-operate fully in the introduction of any new technology and new methods.
