Introduction

A Sheet Metal Manufacturing Company based in Pretoria West is seeking a Senior CAD Operator (Draughtsman) to start immediately.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Reading of various drawings and ability to convert it into a Solidworks package.
  • Schedule assignments and communicate details to all individuals in the CAD department.
  • Participate in all Production meetings.
  • Generate complex drawings in Solidworks according to specifications.
  • Do follow up checks on completed drawings.
  • Create Data Packages.
  • Create cutting files.
  • Understand the bending, laser, machining and welding procedures.
  • Use of all measuring tools.
  • Liaison with quality department.
  • Identifying various components with regard to drawings.
  • Make adjustments on drawings as required from other departments.
Desired Experience & Qualification

  • Must have experience in Solidworks.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience in using Measuring Equipment like Tape Measure/Vernier
years' experience required in manufacturing (Jobbing Environment).

  • Must have experience working on Sigmanest.
Package & Remuneration

Negotiable, depending on experience.

  • Pretoria, Gauteng (required)

Ability to Relocate:

  • Pretoria, Gauteng: Relocate before starting work (required)
