Digital Marketing Assistant (Retail Store)


Job Description:

We are seeking a creative and highly motivated Digital Marketing Assistant with a minimum of one year of experience to join our retail store team.

In this role, you will be responsible for assisting with the creation and management of our digital catalogues, as well as contributing to our overall digital marketing strategy.

A strong portfolio showcasing your past work is required.


Responsibilities:

Assist in the creation, design, and management of digital catalogues for the retail store, ensuring a visually appealing and user-friendly experience for customers.

Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and implement digital marketing strategies that effectively promote our retail store, products, and brand.

Create and edit high-quality visual content, including images, videos, and graphics, for use in digital catalogues and other marketing materials.

Conduct market research and analyze data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement in our digital marketing efforts.

Monitor and report on the performance of digital catalogues and marketing campaigns, making recommendations for optimization and improvement as necessary.

Coordinate with internal departments, including merchandising, photography, and graphic design, to ensure timely completion of digital catalogue projects.


Requirements:

Minimum of one year of experience in digital marketing, with a focus on e-commerce and/or retail store marketing.

Strong portfolio showcasing past work in digital marketing, including digital catalogues and other marketing materials.

Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign, as well as other relevant design tools.

Excellent visual design skills, with a keen eye for detail and a strong understanding of design principles and color theory.

Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with team members and present ideas.

Solid understanding of digital marketing principles, strategies, and best practices.

Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.


Salary:
R7,500.00 per month

• Pietermaritzburg, KwaZulu-Natal: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
