    Job Title: Financial Director (CA)

    Location: Northern Suburbs, Johannesburg

    Estimated Salary: R70,000 – R80,000 per annum

    Job Responsibilities:

    • Lead financial management for five premier restaurant locations.
    • Oversee strategic financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting to ensure the organization's financial goals are met.
    • Prepare and analyze financial statements and reports to provide insights into the company's financial performance.
    • Ensure tax compliance and manage audits specific to the hospitality industry, adhering to all relevant laws and regulations.
    • Collaborate with finance teams and other departments to achieve organizational objectives.
    • Develop and implement effective financial policies and internal controls to mitigate risks and optimize financial performance.
    • Present financial information to stakeholders and management in a clear and concise manner.

    Requirements:

    • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
    • Chartered Accountant (CA) designation from a recognized professional body.
    • 8-10+ years of financial management experience, preferably within the hospitality industry, with a proven track record in strategic financial planning and analysis.
    • Strong understanding of hospitality financial operations, including revenue management and cost control.
    • Expertise in preparing and analyzing financial statements and reports for multiple business units.
    • Experience with tax compliance, audits, and financial regulations specific to the hospitality sector.
    • Proficiency in financial software and enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems.
    • Strong leadership skills for managing finance teams and collaborating with other departments.
    • Excellent communication skills for presenting financial information to stakeholders and executive management.
    • Ability to develop and implement financial policies, procedures, and internal controls.
    • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills to assess financial performance and identify improvement opportunities.
    • Capacity to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
    • Knowledge of industry trends and economic factors affecting the hospitality sector.
    • Commitment to ethical financial practices and adherence to corporate governance standards.
