    About the Role

    We are seeking an experienced and innovative Packaging Designer to join our team. In this role, you will have the opportunity to design for some of the world's most well-known brands.

    This position is based in our office/warehouse location on the Umhlanga side of Durban.

    Duties and Responsibilities

    • Design and develop cutting-edge packaging, labels, and point-of-sale displays for consumer products.
    • Collaborate closely with industrial designers, account managers, and manufacturing teams to bring your designs to life.
    • Conceptualize and develop creative packaging and point-of-sale concepts that effectively communicate brand identity.
    • Manage multiple projects simultaneously, meeting deadlines efficiently.

    Requirements and Skills

    • Minimum 2 years of experience in related fields.
    • Bachelor's Degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communications, or a related field.
    • Proven experience in packaging design and point-of-sale displays, preferably within the FMCG/manufacturing industry.
    • Strong portfolio demonstrating exceptional skills in:
    • 3D product/packaging design.
    • Layout.
    • Typography.
    • Creative projects.
      • Proficiency in industry-standard design software (Adobe Creative Suite - Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
      • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
      • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
      • Ability to take initiative, follow through, and demonstrate a sense of responsibility.
      • Entrepreneurial mindset and ability to work collaboratively as part of a community.
      • Willingsness to accept feedback and continue to grow and expand your skillset.
