Synopsis:


The Manager overseeing the Deli and Tasting Room is tasked with supervising day-to-day operations, with a specific focus on financial objectives and promotional goals.

Leading the team to consistently deliver excellent service to guests and achieving optimal performance across all aspects of the Deli/Tasting Room is the primary responsibility.


Responsibilities:


  • Ensure the provision of highquality service for 5star guest experiences
  • Take charge of overall operations and efficiency of the Tasting Room & Deli
  • Meet sales targets set by management for the Tasting Room & Deli
  • Generate innovative ideas to foster the continued growth of the Tasting Room & Deli
  • Manage daily sales, including commissions and shipping orders
  • Conduct routine purchasing transactions, handle cash registers, and ensure accurate cash accounting at the end of each business day
  • Schedule and oversee all wine tastings and private bookings for the Tasting Room & Deli
  • Manage staff schedules and provide training for wine events and functions
  • Organize and execute wine events and special promotions as needed
  • Address guest experience issues courteously and respectfully
  • Adhere to operational principles and goals
  • Uphold high standards to maintain the image of the establishment
  • Be available to work weekends and some holidays
  • Complete biweekly stocktakes and commission documentation in a timely manner
  • Perform other duties as required and assigned.

Requirements:


  • Neat and articulate appearance
  • Strong managerial capabilities
  • Flexible to work shifts
  • Extensive knowledge of wines
  • Approximately 2 years of experience in a comparable position
