Inventory & Logistics Controller Automotive ~ Engineering

Johannesburg East, Johannesburg - Gauteng - South Africa

Reports to the Operations Manager you will be required to take responsibility for Rolling Stock counts of all warehouses at all branches around the country.

This will require national travel to all the branches.

Using the system to calculate the appropriate inventory (Spares and units) to be held, ensure replenishment of parts from overseas.

You will further ensure that the inventory replenishment guidance is followed, ensuring that stock is replenished timeously at the best cost and that no stockouts occur.

The position further requires assistance and executing the logístical movement of stock around Southern Africa.

Essential Qualifications, Experience and Skills

Matric Qualification.
Postmatric Inventory and Logistics further studies will be an advantage
Must have a minimum of 10 years of trade experience
Code 8 drivers licence
Must want to learn/grow and be dedicated to customer service and have pride in their work
A highlevel user of Excel Skills around extracting information through vlookups and ODBC reports from accounting system/stock system
Syspro experience is highly advantageous.
MS Word writing reports
Above average verbal and communication skills
Ability to multitask and handle pressure.
Ability to handle multiple projects at a time
English Wellwritten and spoken
Afrikaans spoken
