Shonaquip Social Enterprise is a groundbreaking and innovative hybrid Social Enterprise working with people with disabilities.

The SSE has recently transformed from two separate entities, one focusing on barriers to mobility (Shonaquip) and the other barriers in community (Uhambo Foundation) into one combined delivery task team.

Through this process, we have chosen to focus on and strengthen our joint project delivery through building "ecosystems for inclusion".

We are now searching to fill the role of Gauteng Facilitator and Seating Practitioner.

This person will be responsible for all clinical aspects associated with wheelchair provision, training of therapists and other service providers and liaising with stakeholders to improve wheelchair provision in the province and country.

He/she will also be responsible for growing the SSE within the province and ensure the sustainability of the Gauteng Hub.

Further, the person will be assist in the the delivery of various Seating, ECD, Community programme as well as parent traning, creating of referral networks and stakeholder engagements.

• Provide wheelchair services to individual SSE clients
• Provide training to service providers, government entities, caregivers and parents
• Facilitate training programmes
• Identify relevant community stakeholders and establish a working relationship with them
• Oversee the delivery of successful projects within scope, time, and in budget
• Confidently track deliverables and targets
• Administration and report writing
• Travel within and outside of Gauteng
• Occupational Therapy or Physiotherapy or Orthotist qualification
• Registered with HPCSA
• Driver's Licence
• Basic wheelchair and seating training and experience
• Intermediate Wheelchair and Seating training/experience an advantage
