    Job Summary:

    Boston Scientific is seeking a highly experienced and results-driven Sales and Team Management professional to lead our Urology business in South Africa. As a key member of the Country Leadership team, you will be responsible for driving sales growth, developing and executing strategic plans, and coaching a high-performing sales team.

    About the Role:

    This is a leadership position that requires a strong background in sales, marketing, and team management, with experience in the clinical/medical device industry. You will work closely with the Marketing and Training teams to develop and execute sales strategies, identify new business opportunities, and build relationships with key customers.

    Your Key Responsibilities:

    • Drive Sales Growth: Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve regional sales targets, identifying new business opportunities and building relationships with key customers.
    • Leadership and Coaching: Coach and motivate a high-performing sales team, providing guidance and support to ensure they meet their sales targets.
    • Strategic Planning: Work closely with the Marketing and Training teams to develop and execute sales strategies, identifying market trends and competitor activity.
    • Market Intelligence: Gather and analyze market intelligence to inform sales strategies, identifying new business opportunities and areas for growth.
    • Customer Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, understanding their needs and preferences.
    • Team Management: Manage and develop a high-performing sales team, ensuring they have the skills and knowledge required to meet sales targets.
    • Travel: Travel extensively across South Africa, visiting customers and meeting with internal stakeholders as required.

    • Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead and motivate a high-performing sales team, with a strong track record of achieving sales targets.
    • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
    • Business Acumen: Strong business acumen, with the ability to analyze data and make informed decisions.
