BRANCH ADMIN CONTROLLER - DURBAN - R25000 CTC


Currently recruiting for a BRANCH ADMIN CONTROLLER for a National Catering Equipment Supply company based in Durban to ensure that all aspects of the Durban branch is appropriately controlled and administered timeously and efficiently.


MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:


  • Controlling the product inflow and output at each of the designated warehouses as well as inter warehouse transfers.
  • Monitoring and maintaining stock levels, ensuring quantities that appear in the system are accurate.
  • Complete all necessary stock takes. Maintain the warehouse and the allocation of space for stock.
  • Deliveries to customers are done when required.
  • Customer collections are done professionally.
  • Overseeing of Service department, ensure technicians are scheduled and jobs are attended to as required. Manage queries, reports etc.
  • Assistance to Sales department. Ensure daily functioning and operational duties are attended to as needed to ensure effective customer service at all times, whether stock or service related.
  • Ensure all Service calls are attended to and accurately logged.
  • Ensure job cards are opened timeously.
  • Accurate and timeous completion of all job cards.
  • Continuous follow up on open job cards and expediting outstanding issues.
  • Ensure all equipment brought into the branch for repair or service, including for warranty repair is correctly identified and jobs issued accordingly.
  • Ensure Technician labour and travel time is accurately recorded for costing, reporting and productivity purposes.
  • Accurate and timeous completion of all Work Estimates and follow up on estimates issued.
  • Ensure that spares are available timeously as needed for open job cards. This includes the timeous ordering of spares and follow up on outstanding SCT's.
  • The production of monthly standard reports on service department activity and productivity as well as any ad hoc reports as and when required.
  • Scheduling of Technicians activities to enhance efficiency and productivity.
  • Facilities are maintained at all time.
  • Petty cash is managed and reconciled regularly.
  • Banking is done when required.
  • All other branch functions are managed and maintained.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
years' experience in Warehousing and Logistics.

  • Technically minded.
  • Previous experience in managing a warehouse and staff.
  • Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
  • Computer literate in all Office Programs.
  • Excellent excel spreadsheets reporting experience.
