Living Well Interiors is looking to hire an experienced Junior Interior designer focused on Product Design, client customization and consultation to help us keep growing.

Responsibilities for Interior Designer with product focus:

Create design concepts and drawings to determine the best product
Present product ideas to relevant team members for brainstorming
Suggest improvements to design and performance to product engineers
Employ design concepts into functional prototypes buy working with our team of Artisians
Perform research on product technologies and structures to implement into design concepts
Maintain up to date on current industry trends and market conditions
Coordinate with designers to ensure accurate communication and efficiency in the design phase
Modify and revise existing designs to meet customer expectations
Determine scope of work
Negotiate fees clients and vendors
Set project schedulesResearch plans to ensure they are technically feasible
Produce rough sketches and storyboards
Use Sketchup software to develop detailed designs
Select appropriate material for the design and budget
Advise clients on project progress

Qualifications for Interior Designer

Proficient in CAD, Sketchup and 3D rendering programs
Preferred Job experience in the interior design field
Relevant work experience in Interiors product design or customization is preferred
Well versed in design and 3D awareness
Mastery with visualizing concepts and explaining to others
Able to use a MAC
Experience in design consultancy
Skilled at inspecting and surveying buildings
Forward thinking in design concepts
Willingness to travel to client sites
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
Excellent eye for aesthetic design and customer appeal
Good understanding of color science and combinations
Artistic and innovative flair
Excellent attention to detail
Meticulous and diligent
Strong knowledge of the industry and market trends
Able to sit in front of a computer for hours at a time
