    Basic Job Functions:

    The O&M Technician performs fieldwork required to operate and maintain the solar plants. The fieldwork includes daily monitoring of the plant, perform preventative and corrective maintenance as required on the sites.

    Experience/Minimum requirements are:

    • Minimum of Grade 12
    • Electrical experience but no need for a qualified electrician
    • Practical experience with electrical wiring and basic construction practices required.
    • Between 1 to 3 years working with solar electric systems or electrical systems or commercial construction.
    • Knowledge of building and structural construction techniques.
    • Ability to read single line drawings.
    • Good verbal, written, communication and presentation skills in English with computer literacy with packages like MS Word, Excel, Power Point
    • Must have a valid driver's license.

    • Locations: Copperton, Prieska
    • Candidate must be legally entitled to work in South Africa
    • Preference will be given to previously disadvantaged candidates from Prieska.
