Description

We are currently seeking a dynamic and ambitious Sales Administrator with experience to join our rapidly expanding organization, which specializes in the manufacturing of mining equipment.

In this role, the incumbent will be tasked with the critical responsibilities of furnishing administrative support to our esteemed sales team, overseeing the management of sales-related documentation, and actively contributing to the optimization of our comprehensive sales procedures.

This position is pivotal in upholding and enhancing the efficiency and efficacy of our esteemed sales department.


Key Responsibilities:


Order Processing:

Process sales orders accurately and efficiently.

Verify order details, pricing, and product availability.

Coordinate with various departments to ensure timely order fulfilment.


Customer Communication:

Respond to customer inquiries and provide product information.

Address customer issues and concerns in a professional and timely manner.

Maintain strong customer relationships through effective communication.


Sales Documentation and Support
Prepare and maintain sales contracts, invoices, and other sales-related documents.

Assist in the preparation of sales proposals and presentations.

Maintain organized records of sales activities and customer interactions.

Assist the sales team in preparing quotes and proposals.


Inventory Management:

Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with the inventory department to ensure product availability.

Assist in managing returns and exchanges.


Data Entry:

Accurately input and update customer and sales data in the company's CRM (Customer Relationship Management) system.


Administrative Tasks:

Help in organizing sales events and exhibitions.


Qualifications and Skills
Matric or Higher.

Preferably residing in the West Rand (Own Transport)

General administration (sales & despatch), (5 years +)

Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills (English & Afrikaans)

Proficiency in using office software (e.g., Microsoft Office).

Familiarity with ERP software - Syspro

Attention to detail and accuracy.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Problem-solving skills and a customer-oriented mindset.

Knowledge of sales processes and terminology is advantageous.


Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Krugersdorp, Gauteng: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

Experience:

Sales Administrator: 5 years (preferred)

  • Syspro: 2 years (preferred)
