Job Description

The ideal candidate will be a Postgraduate in Finance or Accounting with CIMA, SAICA or other relevant professional certification.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and manage financial plans, forecasts, and budgets to ensure the effective allocation of resources.
Analyze financial data to identify trends, opportunities, and risks, providing insightful recommendations to stakeholders.
Ensure compliance with accounting principles, standards, and regulatory requirements, maintaining accurate and transparent financial records.
Lead cross-functional teams to drive strategic planning, decision-making, and process improvement initiatives.
Manage risk through proactive identification, assessment, and mitigation strategies, protecting the organization's assets and reputation.
Maintain expertise in financial software and Excel, utilizing tools to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and reporting capabilities.

Requirements

Minimum 3 years experience in financial management (post-training contract) with expertise in budgeting, forecasting, analysis, and reporting.
Strong knowledge of accounting principles and standards as well as regulatory requirements.
Excellent analytical, communication, and leadership skills.
Proven track record of success in financial management and strategic planning.
Experience in risk management.
Advanced proficiency in financial software and Excel.
Valid driver's license with own reliable transportation.
Experience in the agricultural input sector is beneficial.
