PURPOSE:

• To support the effective management of the Group's mineral assets specifically focusing on simulation modelling as input to the Life of Mine process.

• Assist to develop and responsible for application of best practices related to process simulation modelling across the group in collaboration with geoscience and mining.

• To support best practices related to process performance and improvement management across the group in collaboration with geoscience and mining.

• To support benchmarking and sharing of best practises in operational performance of coal processing within the Group.

MAJOR CHALLENGES:

• Develop and integrate processing simulation modelling as valuable input to Life of Mine process.

• Establishing a standard and aligned implementation of process simulation modelling across the group.

• Managing (without direct control) processing activities to conform to Group standards.
