    Job Title

    A Technical Sales Professional for Comminution, Separation and Sorting Technology

    Duties & Responsibilities

    • Key Requirements:
      • Technical Degree or Diploma is essential.
      • Minimum 5 years' working experience is essential.
      • Knowledge of the mining and minerals industry is required.
      • Excellent communication and presentation skills are necessary.
      • Strong interpersonal and mentorship skills are essential.
      • Tech-savvy with a good understanding of MS Office.
      • Owning reliable transport and holding a valid driver's license is mandatory.
    • Main Responsibilities:
      • Provide accurate and competitive pricing on completed prospect applications while maintaining profit margins.
      • Maintain records of pricings, sales, and activity reports.
      • Create and conduct proposal presentations.
      • Control expenses to meet budget guidelines.
      • Communicate company policies, procedures, and ethics codes within the team.
      • Resolve customer objections regarding equipment and service.
      • Determine price schedules and discount rates.
      • Liaise with customers regarding equipment needs and advise on suitable products.
      • Stay up-to-date with market trends and maintain product knowledge.
      • Research competitors and set annual targets and budgets.
      • Conduct client visits and provide timely feedback to senior management.
      • Submit weekly/monthly reports to the sales and marketing manager.
      • Develop and mentor staff aligned with departmental objectives.
      • Conduct performance appraisals for relevant staff members.
      • Manage work allocation and resources aligned with departmental objectives.
      • Compile and manage the departmental budget.
      • Foster quality measures in accordance with ISO 9001 procedures.
