An accounting practice in Gillitts has a vacancy for a Client Accounting Manager to join their dynamic team.

They will have the following qualifications and experience:

• Must have an accounting degree plus completed articles (non-negotiable)
• Experience in auditing will be a great bonus.
• And the following competencies and duties will be required:
• To have experience in managing a small team;
• To produce and review monthly management accounts for a portfolio of clients;
• To have good working knowledge of South African Taxation;
• To have good working knowledge of payroll;
• To have fully proficient with various tax returns (VAT, PAYE, Prov tax, Income tax returns);
• To complete VAT, EMP, Prov tax and income tax returns for clients;
• To process and review payroll for clients;
• To prepare Annual Financial Statements;
• To do an independent review of annual financial statements;
• To assist and guide team of accountants;
• To have knowledge of accounting systems/programmes such as Sage One, Pastel, Xero, Sage Payroll, Caseware (Bluubin and Simple pay knowledge will be a bonus)
