    **Safari Guide Position**
    We are seeking a highly skilled and knowledgeable Safari Guide to join our team at Bright Search Recruitment Pty Ltd.

    About the Role:
    The successful candidate will be responsible for leading morning and afternoon game drives, ensuring a seamless and memorable safari experience for our guests.

    Key Responsibilities:
    • Game Drive Leadership: Conduct informative and engaging game drives, sharing expert knowledge of local wildlife, ecosystems, and conservation practices.
    • Guest Experience: Host guests throughout their stay, ensuring a high level of service and comfort during activities.
    • Safety and Maintenance: Perform daily vehicle checks, report maintenance needs, and adhere to lodge operational protocols and conservation guidelines.
    • Collaboration: Work with lodge staff to maintain high guest service standards and represent the lodge professionally at all times.
    • Bush Walks: Assist with bush walks if qualified and authorized.
    • Pre-Drive Briefings and Debriefings: Conduct pre-drive briefings and post-drive debriefings to ensure guests are well-informed and prepared.

    Requirements:
    • FGASA Level 1: A minimum qualification in Field Guides Association of Southern Africa (FGASA) Level 1.
    • First Aid Level 1: A valid First Aid Level 1 certification.
    • PDP: A valid Professional Driving Permit (PDP).
    • Communication Skills: Excellent communication and guest interaction skills.
    • Knowledge of Local Flora and Fauna: Strong knowledge of local flora and fauna.
    • Professional Appearance and Demeanor: A professional appearance and demeanor.
    • Luxury Lodge Experience: Previous luxury lodge experience is an advantage.
