Role responsibilities:

Managing Director:
Resources

Business development experience
Building upon existing relationships, and maintaining strong new ones. Must have proven network of relationships
Identifying project opportunities, and collaborating with the team to drive and deliver successful proposals
Preparation and tailoring of capability and technical documentation used in the tender process
Delivering project wins in line with sales targets,
Assisting as a senior role on projects. Ensuring the quality of delivery, as well as the client relationships remain strong during project execution
Maintain contractual cashflow, budget control and associated change control on contracts
Assist in conducting risk analysis and reporting on contracts
A team player, willing to collaborate across multiple disciplines, across multiple offices and excelling in the commitment of resolution of complex issues

Minimum requirements:

Relevant Civil & Structural Engineering Bachelors degree from an accredited university with at least 1520 years of postgraduate experience, 510 of which postregistration
Post Graduate Degree will be advantageous, professionally registered with ECSA is mandatory
At least 510 years of experience managing design teams & working with clients
Proven business development experience, design & project leading experience
Experience working in a multidisciplinary environment is a must
A solid background in the design of mining structures
Sound knowledge in the use of a variety of structural analysis software

Skills, and characteristics:

Must understand structural modelling software (e.g., Prokon, Strant7, SAFE and possibly Space Gas or the like)
Proven knowledge and experience of the relevant engineering codes, standards, and practices
Seismic design experience (preferred)
Proven mining project execution experience, Strong wining work, client facing capability and experience
Confident, wellspoken, selfstarter, disciplined, detail and deadline / delivery orientated.
Excellent communication skills (proven ability to interact well with personnel at all organizational levels)
