Primary Purpose
To represent by ensuring that customer requirements are met with regard to the quality and availability of products. Lead Sort and rework action at the customer as and when required. Attend daily meetings at customer and provide feedback to Manufacturing plants.

Job outcomes and functions

  • Assist and advise with the improvement of product quality.
  • Attend daily production meeting with customer's senior management to discuss any quality related matters and follow up on any discrepancies.
  • Attend daily audits at customer and ensure that relevant discrepancies are followed up immediately with responsible MA manufacturing plant.
  • Obtain rework approval from Customer prior to any rework being done by plants
  • Arrange for labor to sort and/or identify wrong parts received from plants as and when required.
  • Arrange and present 8D/Corrective action report to customer on behalf of plants as and when required
  • Ensure that any customer request is followed up and resolved timeously
  • Ensure that work practices comply with the company SHE procedures and Works Instructions

Minimum Qualifications/Experience Required

  • Grade 12 and TQM City & Guilds Auditing Certificate


  • Preferable

  • City and Guilds, SPC, ISO9000
  • Minimum 2 years' experience within the automotive manufacturing environment
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in the production environment
  • Extensive Technical background
