Description

Midvaal Recruitment seeks a highly skilled Health and Safety Professional to be based at our branch in Gauteng.

The ideal candidate will possess a Matric certificate and additional qualifications relevant to the position.

A strong background in health and safety principles is essential, with proficiency in risk assessments, evacuation drills, and compiling site drawings.

The ability to conduct compliance surveys, investigations, and implementation under the OHS Act is required.

Familiarity with financials and profit margins is necessary, as well as experience in internal and external sales.

Prior experience in managing subordinate staff would be advantageous.

The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills and the ability to interact with all levels of management.

Fluency in both Afrikaans and English is necessary, with good physical health required for extensive walking during site surveys and audits.

A valid driver's license and own reliable vehicle are essential for local and national travel.

Computer literacy in MS Office applications, including Word, Excel, and Outlook, is also required.

Basics knowledge of project management and understanding of financials, profit margins, and related concepts are necessary.

The ability to work under pressure and manage tasks and projects effectively is crucial.
