    Description

    The Role

    Our ideal candidate will provide analytical and administrative support in the development of an SD Strategy.

    This includes supporting the setting of annual SD budgets and targets, as well as the development and implementation of SD programmes and initiatives.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Analyse and profile the Organisation's procurement chain to identify opportunities for improvement.
    • Develop and implement SD initiatives that meet the needs of the Organisation and its stakeholders.
    • Interact with suppliers to identify SD opportunities and conduct detailed reviews of supplier support needs.
    • Formalize SD agreements with beneficiaries and manage the disbursement of SD contributions.

    Monitoring, Reporting and Benchmarking

    We are looking for a highly organized and persistent individual who can develop and implement a plan to monitor and evaluate SD initiatives.

    This includes meeting regularly with SD beneficiaries to ensure that value is generated and expectations are being met.

    The successful candidate will also be responsible for reporting on the SD programme at required intervals, such as monthly, quarterly, and annually.

    B-BBEE Audit

    The role requires support for the annual B-BBEE audit on Supplier Development, including providing relevant documentation and attending to audit queries.

    Requirements

    To be considered for this role, you will need a minimum qualification of a relevant bachelor's degree, such as BCom Accounting/Supply Chain/Law/Economics/or equivalent qualification.

    A minimum of 5-8 years' experience in the Enterprise and Supplier Development (ESD) space or related field is also required.

    The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge in working with and supporting ESD programmes, as well as a good understanding of the legislative requirements relating to ESD.
