Description

We're on the lookout for a skilled FMCG Credit Controller.

The purpose of this position will be to ensure the efficient and effective collection of outstanding debt through customer interaction.

This will include contacting debtors after month end payments are allocated, attending to requests for invoices and statements, explaining customer credit limits and many other tasks.

FMCG/Food Manufacturing is essential.

Duties & Responsibilities
Ensuring the efficient and effective collection of outstanding debt
Contacting customers after monthly payments are allocated
Contacting overdue customers during the month
Recording details of all customer interactions
Dealing with requests for invoices and statements
Ensuring monthly targets are met
Advising customers of their credit limits
Preparing accounts for legal handover
Reconciling all payments to invoices
Ensuring journals are allocated to the correct invoices
Rectifying any errors encountered
Resolving customer claims and queries
Requesting PODs and checking price differences
Creating regular credit reports, etc.
