SALARY

MAIN PURPOSE

  • Ensure compliance with Health & Safety requirements and standard set by the
company.

  • Perform Basic functions of Health & Safety requirements

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage incidents and accidents
  • Hazard identification and risk assessment (HIRA)
  • Identify measures to mitigate risks and hazards
  • Conduct SHE committee meetings
  • Conduct risk assessment
  • Investigate employee SHE complaints
  • Carry our safety induction and training
  • Arrange safety training for safety reps, first aiders and forklift drives
  • Monitor employee forklift licenses
  • Carry out workplace inspections
  • Compile site specific files
  • Produce safety reports and develop relevant policies
  • Prepare for audits and inspections for department of labour or any relevant
authority

  • Manage ISO 900
  • Manage ISO 45000


  • Manage ISO 1400

  • Manage ISO 22 000
  • Quality management system for ISO 900
  • Ensuring that the overall health & safety of the company is maintained and
improved where necessary

  • Conduct toolbox talks
  • Ensure that a safety culture is developed
  • Assist in any jobrelated tasks as required by management
ASSESSMENTS/REPORTING

  • Monthly branch assessments
  • After inspection report
  • Implementation after report
EDUCATION, TRAINING, SKILLS, AND EXPERIENCE


Minimum Qualification:
Safety Management Qualification


Experience:
Minimum 5 years

  • Ability to perform duties at deliberate speed and accuracy without immediate and
constant supervision

Salary:
From R20,000.00 per month


Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Wadeville, Gauteng: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
