Description

Role purpose:

To analyse required billing systems to identify functionality enhancements as well as process improvements
To compile business and technical user requirements specifications that is representative and complete
To provide feedback on new products, services and other requirements
To conduct an impact analysis on various systems


Your responsibilities will include:


Analyse business requirements
To analyse requirements of Billing systems to identify functionality enhancements as well as process improvements
To compile business and technical user requirements specifications that is representative and complete
To ensure that user requirements are documented, developed and delivered on


Impact assessment of new products and services
To provide feedback on new products, services and other requirements
To conduct an impact analysis on various systems
To perform information requests and investigations


Project management methodologies
To use Project Management methodologies to communicate and facilitate execution and implementation of new systems or releases
To effectively communicate and liaise with all stakeholders
To ensure effective change control is executed
To ensure that systems adhere to and comply with all relevant policies and procedures
Deployment across standardised environments and layered architecture
Operations transition initiation and support


Compiled reports
Accuracy, Delivery time
Projects, Systems Analysis, Ad-hoc


Provided Support to Operations
Provide support to Operations teams regarding business queries.
Provide post implementation support.


Business Analysis
Business/ systems requirements elicitation and analyses
Process modelling
Solution(s) design and recommendations
Author business and systems requirements and design specification documents
Generate technical artifacts like use cases, context diagrams, frameworks
Development of training material, test cases, operations manuals
To be involved and facilitate user acceptance testing

To establish validation and balancing criteria to ensure integrity of data in profiling system and be involved in ensuring continued data integrity for area of information delivery.


Stakeholder management
To agree with users on business rules to be applied to data.
To develop and document consolidated information requirements and quality attributes from business requirements.
To provide primary user contact for relevant area of information delivery and perform ad hoc analyses.
To interface with all other role-players, for example source systems and Report authors, etc

Matric - Essential
3 year degree/ diploma in engineering, science, finance, any applied mathematical degree Essential
Honours degree-advantage.
A minimum of 3-5 years relevant experience within an ICT Company is essential with specific focus on:
Quantitative analytics
Customer data
Campaign management systems, optimisation technology and process
CRM operations

Matric - Essential
Relevant - 2 years certificate/diploma - (essential)
A minimum of - 8 years relevant experience within an ICT Company is essential with specific focus on:
Business Analysis
Systems Architecture and Design
Logistics Management and Billing Systems
Software development management and SDLC experience of at least 5 years is essential
Understanding of systems and business processes relating to the telecoms environment is essential


Technical / Professional Expertise
Knowledge of hosting servers and services in the cloud (AWS/Azure/etc)
Moving workloads from on-prem to cloud
Data analysis through the use of SQL
Design and knowledge of CI/CD Pipelines
Working in an Agile manner i.e. scrum team
Knowledge of DevOps (People/Process/Technology)
Knowledge of Billing and Financial Reporting
Knowledge of Configuration Management
