    Risk and Compliance Functional Consultant

    The Risk and Compliance Functional Consultant is responsible for configuring and testing risk management applications, as well as troubleshooting and resolution of technical problems.

    They are also responsible for writing functional and test specifications, training and testing material, providing user support and assistance for 3rd level incidents, and resolving business as usual issues aligned to operations and service processes.

    Furthermore, the Risk and Compliance Functional Consultant will design and implement solutions based on business requirements which originate as change requests and/or projects.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Oversee daily operation and maintenance of the OPUS platform.
    • Ensure data integrity and security within OPUS.
    • Implement updates and improvements as needed.
    • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and understand business requirements and translate them into functional specifications.

    The Risk and Compliance Functional Consultant will also be responsible for designing and building workflows and checklists tailored to business needs, mapping out data flows and integration points within the workflows, ensuring the workflows align with business objectives and compliance requirements.

    • Manage and maintain data within the OPUS platform.
    • Ensure data quality and consistency across workflows and checklists.
    • Develop data management policies and procedures.
    • Perform data analysis and generate reports as needed.

    Additionally, the Risk and Compliance Functional Consultant will collaborate with IT and development teams to implement and maintain API integrations, monitor and troubleshoot API issues and data flow problems, ensure data integrity and security in API transactions, and provide insights and recommendations for optimizing data structures and integration.

    • Collaborate with SAP and OPUS teams to ensure data alignment and integration.
    • Monitor and maintain the data flow between SAP HR/ECM and OPUS.
    • Provide training and support to users on troubleshooting methods.
    • Conducting system testing, performance tuning, and troubleshooting during implementation and post-go-live support.

    The Risk and Compliance Functional Consultant will also participate in project planning, estimation, and scoping activities, make recommendations to optimize processes, policies and procedures, identify suitable solutions to new and existing business requirements (changes and projects), and ensure effective resolution of problems and incidents.

    They will stay updated with the latest features and industry trends and have a strong understanding of data management principles and practices, familiarity with database management and data integration, proficiency in using data management tools and software, ability to work with technical and non-technical stakeholders, understanding of ERP systems and their data flows, and ability to communicate effectively with SAP and OPUS teams.

    Requirements:

    • Proficiency in OPUS platform.
    • Experience in system administration and management.
    • Experience in business analysis and workflow design.
    • Experience in data analysis and reporting.
    • Experience in API integration and management.
    • Experience in SAP data management and integration.

    The ideal candidate will have knowledge of development concepts, knowledge and application of relevant IT best practices, knowledge of IT Service Management principles and frameworks (ITIL 3), knowledge of Project & program management including methods and tools, knowledge of SAP HR and ECM modules and their data structures, and knowledge of API concepts and protocols (REST, SOAP, etc.).

    Competencies:

    • Understand the API architecture and how it facilitates data flow between SAP and OPUS.
    • Understand the SAP HR and ECM modules and their data structures.
    • Apply a systematic approach to identify, analyze, and resolve issues.
    • Excellent organizational skills.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
    • Strong analytical and conceptual, critical thinking skills.
    • Excellent written and oral communication skills to interact with stakeholders.
    • Attention to detail, accuracy and ability to document requirements clearly.

    The Risk and Compliance Functional Consultant must have a strong understanding of data management principles and practices, familiarity with database management and data integration, proficiency in using data management tools and software, ability to work with technical and non-technical stakeholders, understanding of ERP systems and their data flows, and ability to communicate effectively with SAP and OPUS teams.

    Qualifications:

    • 3 year IT related degree (advantageous).
    • Certified in TOGAF, Agile Methodologies (advantageous).
    • Certified in COBIT, Prince II (advantageous).
    • Certified in ITIL 3 (required).
